インターネットで流通する、「Asset アセット」と呼ばれる素材データ。彼らはイメージの生産の為に生まれた記号という資産である。そのデータをシーンの中に取り込み、現実の表象や物理法則とは似て非なるプログラムを実行する。データは新たな法則のもとで出会い、変形することで、既製品の名前から、性別から、役割から逃亡する。インターネットにおける生産と流通のフローから逃れ、匿名の身体を手に入れるためのエクササイズ。
Source data known as “assets” circulate on the Internet. They are assets in the form of signs made for the purpose of image creation. I import such data into scenes, and run programs that are similar yet different from representations and physical laws of reality. Data encounter and transform based on new principles, and thereby escape the sexes, functions and names of ready-made products.This exercise is for them to cut free from the flow of production and distribution on the Internet, and acquire anonymous bodies.
